About the Role
We’re looking for a Regional Video Editor who can transform campus moments, regional stories, and social-first ideas into high-impact, scroll-stopping visual narratives. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling and modern content consumption—balancing cinematic long-form edits with fast, trend-aware short-form videos built for Reels, Shorts, and mobile-native platforms.
What You’ll Do:
* Edit long-form video content, including campus events, interviews, testimonials, explainers, and brand-led narratives
* Craft engaging, high-retention edits using strong rhythm, pacing, music sync, and narrative flow
* Apply Gen-Z and platform-native editing styles—fast cuts, text overlays, sound design, transitions, and visual hooks
* Collaborate closely with the Regional Social Media Strategist to execute content ideas and calendars
* Ensure content stays regionally relevant, visually consistent, emotionally engaging, and on-brand
* Stay actively tuned into social media trends, formats, and audience behavior
* Manage quick turnarounds for time-sensitive content without compromising quality
* Maintain clean project structure, file naming, export specs, and delivery hygiene
* Shoot and edit short-form, phone-shot content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
* Coordinate with Central Editors, motion designers, and brand teams when required.
What You Bring:
* 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in video editing for branded, digital, or social-first content
* Strong command over editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
* Working knowledge of After Effects for basic to intermediate motion graphics, text animations, and transitions
* Hands-on experience with mobile editing apps such as CapCut, VN, InShot, etc.
* Ability to independently shoot usable, well-framed content on mobile phones
* Solid understanding of framing, composition, lighting for mobile shoots, and audio cleanup
