Job Description
Recruitment for Junior Clerk cum Typist positions under CEN 07/2026. Responsibilities involve general office administration, file maintenance, correspondence handling, record keeping, and clerical typing duties.
Salary: Pay Level 2 under 7th CPC (Initial Basic Pay of ₹19,900/- plus applicable allowances)
Experience Required: Freshers / Under Graduates are eligible (No prior work experience required)
Qualification Required:12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks not insisted for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen with higher qualifications).
Basic computer proficiency and typing proficiency (CBTST dispensed with for this notification).
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 1st January 2027 (Upper age relaxations apply as per rules).
Vacancies: 600 tentative vacancies distributed across various RRBs
Medical Standard: C-2 (Physically fit in all respects; distant vision 6/12, nil with or without glasses; near vision Sn: 0.6 combined with or without glasses) Job Type: Full-time (Regular Central Government Post)
Selection Process: 1st Stage CBT, 2nd Stage CBT, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
